Our History
In 1996, President Steve Gould founded Modular Installation Services with the idea of providing furniture services to our clients with specially trained installers who are adept at handling the many furniture lines available to our clients.
Monica Gould joined the team in 2002, bringing 15 years of Facilities and Property Management experience. Her background gave MIS a deep understanding of what facilities managers and building owners actually need from an installation partner: reliability, communication, and minimal disruption.
We are a family and Veteran-owned, Texas-certified HUB Enterprise. We have been recognized by the Austin Business Journal as one of Austin's Fastest Growing Companies, and one of Austin's largest Moving Companies. We are proud members of the Austin Chamber of Commerce, the Better Business Bureau (BBB Accredited), and IFMA Austin.
